A HM4000 Controller Unit by Hornby / Hammant & Morgan. Good popular controller (well sort after!), with advanced features including:

• Gradual acceleration / slowing, controlled by adjustable slider switch which determines the rate.
• Separate ‘brake’ button for each of the 2 controllers (handbrake button in effect).
• Individual direction and power buttons for each controller.
• Seperate DC & AC rear outputs for providing power to accessories, such as signals / points, scenery lights.
• Includes original power lead.

Used by myself for a short time on my old layout, now upgraded to more advanced controller for my larger and more complex layout.
Comes with original box, polystyrene moulded inserts, and instruction sheet.
All in really good condition, with just some scuff marks to the edges/corners of the box expected with age.

(Note: This model has a common fault, where you turn it on, and one of the channels will not power on. This is very easily resolved by disconnecting/reconnecting the power, simples!
(Note 2: I returned this controller direct to Hornby a few years ago, where their workshop replaced some resistors to repair the above fault which had occurred).
